The Ciências Research & Innovation Day aims to celebrate the various groundbreaking branches being developed at Ciências ULisboa and highlighting the dedication and creativity of its members. All participants had the opportunity to discover the diversity of scientific projects developed within Ciências ULisboa, with faculty, researchers and innovators sharing their work with both the community, fostering collaboration and networking.

As previously mentioned by Margarida Santos-Reis, the subdiretor of the faculty for the research area, "This event is an opportunity to publicize and celebrate the quality of research and innovation developed at Ciências ULisboa, the ideal occasion for sharing knowledge, establishing collaborations and reinforcing the sense of identity of this century-old institution, a national and international reference."
